PrEP Program Manager

 The PrEP Program Manager will oversee the implementation of the PrEP Program, including HIV testing, nPEP and PrEP, prevention education and medical care and support services for people living with HIV. They will also be responsible for the operational success and seamless team management and development, program delivery, and quality control and evaluation. In this newly established role, the Program Manager will manage a growing staff while ensuring confidentiality of all records.

SALARY:                  $46,500.00 (based on qualifications/experience)

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Health, or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years Management Experience in Human or Social Services.
  • Excellent Customer Service.
  • 2-4 years of experience working in HIV/STI prevention or other community health programs preferred.
  • Florida Department of Health 500 and 501 HIV/AIDS certification.

Responsible For:

GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee contracted PrEP Peer Navigators
  • Manage the CAB, including meeting coordination, member recruitment and satisfaction, activities/initiatives, and impact.
  • Foster positive and collaborative relationships with community residents, community leaders, local nonprofit organizations, businesses, and other community based organizations to strengthen implementation of the program.
  • Order collateral items and oversees distribution to program participants.
  • Track program expenses and compile reports as needed.
  • Coordinate all project activities with The Bros in Convo initiative and Miracle of Love Inc., including monthly planning meetings, tracking of deliverable and evaluation of overall project.
  • Evaluate and develop plans to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Ensure data collection as per agency procedures and funding requirements
  • Conduct quarterly program meetings and monthly supervision with all program staff and participate in evaluation activities based on program goals and objectives.
  • Represent the agency at community events, meetings and conferences as requested by the Executive Director
  • Attend and participate in staff training opportunities.
  • All other duties as assigned.

PrEP Peer Navigator

The PrEP Peer Navigator is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of PrEP education and linkage according to company policies and procedures. Coordinates and conducts risk assessment applications; conducting informed consent activities, scheduling wave, replicating and/or implementing behavioral intervention curriculum.

SALARY:                  $20,625.00

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Health, or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years Patient Navigator, Case Management, Education or Human Services and great customer service experience is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience working in HIV/STI prevention or other community health programs preferred.
  • Florida Department of Health 500 and 501 HIV/AIDS Certification.

Coordinates and conducts risk assessment applications; conducting informed consent activities, scheduling wave, replicating and/or implementing behavioral intervention curriculum.

GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct HIV testing and counseling/STD screening
  • Provide a confidential assessment to determine the HIV prevention needs of the clients.
  • Provide access to biomedical prevention services (PrEP/PEP), ensuring access, follow-up, and adherence to PrEP/PEP.
  • Provide and ensures access and active referrals to the screening of STIs.
  • Provides outreach into the community, including local gay bars/clubs, and other community settings where the target population as needed.
  • Perform follow-up risk assessments with individuals who test negative for HIV.
  • Collaborate with MOL Inc. for linkage, and re-linkage to prevention services, STIs screening, and follow up.
  • Maintain communication between inter, and intra-agency services providers for successful coordination of services.
  • Maintain records of all activities.
  • Attendance at required agency meetings, and external meetings with other local providers.
  • Assist in documenting program activities and reports outcomes to Program Manager as required.
  • Community outreach and education.
  • All other duties as assigned.
